Nifty and Bank Nifty Prediction for Tomorrow 15 June 2022: Indian stock markets opened lower on Tuesday amid weak global cues. The benchmark indices erased early losses soon after opening and traded volatile throughout the day. The market sentiments become negative in the afternoon session after the government shows that May’s WPI numbers touched a record high at 15.88 percent.

Selling pressure was witnessed in Energy, Auto, and PSU Bank stocks. The broader markets also fell in line with their larger peers. At the close, Sensex and Nifty declined 0.29 percent and 0.27 percent respectively. You can read the detailed market updates here

 

Nifty and Nifty Bank futures price movement for June 14 (June Expiry)

 

The Nifty futures price opened at 15715.60, making a negative opening of 50.65 points. It has touched an intraday high of 15877 and a day’s low of 15666

The Nifty futures price has given a movement of 211 points today. In the end, it closed lower by 24.25 points or 0.15 percent and ended at 15742 levels.

The Bank Nifty futures opened at 33390 It made a negative opening of 41.4  points. The Bank Nifty futures has touched an intraday high at 33707.05 and a day’s low at 33185.15

During the day, the Bank Nifty futures has given a movement of 521.9 points. In the end, it closed lower by 43.75 points or 0.13 percent and closed at 33387.65 levels.

Range-Bound Trend of Nifty Futures: All up Moves Initiates Profit Booking (Sale) @ 16900 whereas All Down Moves Initiates Short Covering (Buy) @ 15600

If the Nifty futures share price Moves Above 15776 and sustain. Then you should Buy with 1st Target of 15818 during the day with a Stop Loss of 15718 FOR the Target of 15818- 15855- 15907- 15970

Primary Trend of  Bank Nifty Futures: Negative with cautious bias

Range-Bound Trend of Bank Nifty Future: All up Moves Initiates Profit Booking (Sale) @ 33800 whereas All Down Moves Initiates Short Covering (Buy) @ 33250

Suppose the Bank Nifty futures Moves Above 33480 and sustain, then you should Buy with the 1st Target of 33590 during the day with a Stop Loss of  33320 the Target of 33590- 33712- 33808- 33928

If the Bank Nifty futures Moves Below 33165 and sustain, then you should Sell with the 1st Target of 33020 the day with a Stop Loss of 33265. FOR the Target of 33020 – 32925 – 32760 – 32625

 

Global Stock Markets today

 

On the global front, the other Asian market indexes closed mixed on Tuesday after a sharp fall in the previous session, as the US rate hike and China growth fear still weighing on sentiments. Shanghai closed higher in the hope of more policy support while the Hang Seng index closed flat today.

European benchmark indexes are trading lower and erased early gains on Tuesday as inflationary fears once again gripped investors ahead of US central banks’ monetary policy. The market sentiments also dampened after UK’s Office for National Statistics showed that the unemployment rate unexpectedly rose in the three months to April for the first time in a year. The US future indexes Dow and Nasdaq futures are trading in the green today at this time at 5.30 pm IST

 

Conclusion

 

Indian markets closed marginally lower on Tuesday after a record high WPI numbers and cautiousness ahead of the US Fed’s interest rate decision on Wednesday. The domestic market restrained from heavy sell-off as CPI data moderated on an MoM basis. Going ahead, Indian markets will follow global cues and are expected to remain volatile tomorrow ahead of the Fed’s interest rate decision. Traders should remain cautious and avoid taking carry forward position tomorrow.
