Nifty and Bank Nifty Prediction for Tomorrow, 25 Aug 2021:  Indian equity markets opened higher on Tuesday tracking positive cues from the global markets. The key benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty traded above their neutral lines throughout the day on the back of buying in Metals, Finance, and Banking stocks. In the end, markets extended their early gains and closed higher today.

The market sentiments were positive after the SBI research report ‘Ecowrap’ said that the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) is expected to grow at around 18.5 percent with an upward bias in the first quarter of the current financial year.

Further, adding more optimism, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has said foreign direct investments into the country are on the rise, it jumped to $12.1 billion in May this year. He has also said that India has received the highest ever foreign direct investment (FDI) inflow in 2020-21

 

Market Today: Sensex, Nifty, and Bank Nifty spot price

 

At the close, Nifty gained 128.15 points or 0.78 percent and closed at 16624.60 while Sensex was up by 403.19 points or 0.73 percent and finished at 55958.98 levels. The Bank Nifty on spot price closed higher by 587.70 points or 1.68 percent and ended at 35712.10 levels.

The broader markets outperformed the benchmark indices today as midcap and small-cap indexes gained more than a percent. The Nifty midcap index gained 384 points or 1.43 percent and closed at 27276.70 levels. The Nifty smallcap indexes were up by 193.05 points or 2 percent and finished at 9861.50 levels.

The top five gainers in the Nifty50 index were Bajaj Finserve, Hindalco, Adani Ports, Tata Steel, and Bajaj Finance. The top five losers were NestleInd, Britannia, Asian Paints, HDFC, and Infosys. The most active stocks in terms of value were Tata Steel, BajajFinserv, and Bajaj Finance. The most active stocks in terms of volume were Tata Motors, SBI, and Tata Steel.

On a sectoral front, Metals, Finance, Banking, Automobiles, Capital Goods, and Infrastructure sectors closed higher. The sectors that closed in the red were FMCG, IT & Software, and Insurance.

 

Nifty and Nifty Bank futures price movement for 24 August ( Aug Expiry)

 

The Nifty futures price opened at 16555.40 and made a positive opening of 61.15 points. It has touched an intraday high at 16643.30 and a day’s low at 16495.05 

The Nifty futures price has given a movement of 148.25 points today. In the end, it gained 121.75 points or 0.74 percent and ended at 16616 levels.

The Bank Nifty futures opened at 35152.10. It made a negative opening of 7.1 points today. It has touched an intraday high at 35817.55 and a day’s low at 35085

During the day, the Bank Nifty in futures has given a movement of 732.55 points. In the end, it closed higher by 549.45 points or 1.56 percent and closed at 35708.65 levels

Range-Bound Trend of Nifty Futures: All up Moves Initiates Profit Booking (Sale) @ 16700 whereas All Down Moves Initiates Short Covering (Buy) @ 16550

If the Nifty futures share price Moves Above 16629 and sustain. Then you should Buy with 1st Target of 16652 during the day with a Stop Loss of 16580  FOR the Target of 16652-16675- 16704

If the Nifty futures share price Moves Below 16580 and is sustained. Then you should Sell with the 1st Target of 16555 during the day with a Stop Loss of 16295. FOR the Target of 16555- 16526-16495

Primary Trend of  Bank Nifty Futures: Positive

Range-Bound Trend of Bank Nifty Future: All up Moves Initiates Profit Booking (Sale) @ 36200, whereas All Down Moves Initiates Short Covering (Buy) @ 35700

Suppose the Bank Nifty futures Moves Above 35790 and sustain, then you should Buy with the 1st Target of 35980 during the day with a Stop Loss of  35530. FOR the Target of 35980 – 36130 – 36270

If the Bank Nifty futures Moves Below 35530 and sustain, then you should Sell with the 1st Target of 35390 during the day with a Stop Loss of 35790. FOR the Target of 35390 – 35260 – 35090

 

Global markets today

 

On the global front, Asian market indexes closed higher on Tuesday as the Central Bank of China pledged to stabilize the supply of credit and increase monetary support for small businesses and the economy. European markets are trading mixed on Tuesday. Germany’s DAX is trading higher as the latest economic data showed a stronger than expected economic recovery in Germany. The US futures indexes, Dow, and Nasdaq futures are trading higher at this moment.

 

Conclusions

 

Indian markets gained for the second consecutive day today. The midcap and smallcap indexes also closed higher after a gap. Markets gained with the support of positive global cues and on the buying in metals and financial stocks.
