Nifty and Bank Nifty Prediction for Tomorrow 25 Aug 2022: Indian equity markets closed marginally higher on Wednesday amid volatility. The market sentiments remain cautious as investors look forward to Fed Chairman Powell’s speech, which is due on Friday, at the Jackson Hole annual economic symposium. The domestic market gained on the back of buying in Realty, Media, and Pvt banking stocks, while IT and Pharma stocks were under pressure today. 

The market breadth was quite strong today. At the close, the benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty gained 0.09 percent and 0.16 percent respectively, The broader markets outperformed the benchmark for the second consecutive day, as Nfty mid and smallcap indexes closed higher by 0.74 percent and 0.82 percent respectively. Nifty and Bank Nifty futures price movement for 24 Aug (Aug Expiry)

 

The Nifty futures price opened at 17552.10, making a negative opening of 33.45 points today. It has touched an intraday high of 17635.30 and a day’s low of 17495

The Nifty futures price has given a movement of 140.3 points today. In the end, it closed higher by 24.10 points or 0.14 percent and ended at 17609.65 levels.

The Bank Nifty futures opened at 38650 It made a negative opening of 126.05 points. The Bank Nifty futures has touched an intraday high at 39150 and a day’s low at 38622.25

During the day, the Bank Nifty futures has given a movement of 527.75 points. In the end, it closed higher by 338.95 points or 0.87 percent and closed at 39115 levels.

Range-Bound Trend of Nifty Futures: All up Moves Initiates Profit Booking (Sale) @ 17750 whereas All Down Moves Initiates Short Covering (Buy) @ 17500

If the Nifty futures share price Moves Above 17656 and sustain. Then you should Buy with 1st Target of 17685 during the day with a Stop Loss of 17630 FOR the Target of 17685- 17716- 17750

If the Nifty futures share price Moves Below 17580 and is sustained. Then you should Sell with the 1st Target of 17558 for the day with a Stop Loss of 17615. For the Target of 17558- 17530- 17490

Primary Trend of  Bank Nifty Futures: Volatile

Range-Bound Trend of Bank Nifty Future: All up Moves Initiates Profit Booking (Sale) @ 39400 whereas All Down Moves Initiates Short Covering (Buy) @ 38900

Suppose the Bank Nifty futures Moves Above 39260 and sustain, then you should Buy with the 1st Target of 39340 during the day with a Stop Loss of  39110 and the Target of 39340- 39425- 39510

If the Bank Nifty futures Moves Below 38940 and sustain, then you should Sell with the 1st Target of 3865 the day with a Stop Loss of 39060. For the Target of  38865 – 38770 -38640

 

Global Stock Markets Today

 

On the global front, the other Asian market indexes mostly closed in the red on Wednesday. China’s Shanghai was down 1.86 percent after electric vehicle maker Xpeng tumbled due to a bigger than expected quarterly loss. Hang Seng closed lower as tech stocks dragged the markets. Japan’s Nikkei trimmed early losses after Japan’s prime minister Fumio Kishida confirmed that the government looking to restart more nuclear reactors.

European markets are trading mixed as investors are cautious ahead of the Jackson Hole symposium and a speech by Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell on Friday. The US futures, Dow, and Nasdaq futures are trading almost flat at 5 pm IST.

 

Conclusion

 

The Indian markets gained marginally higher amid volatility on Wednesday. Investors were cautious ahead of the US Fed Chairman Powell’s speech on Friday. Markets are expected to remain volatile tomorrow due to the monthly F&O expiry. Traders should remain cautious and trade with strict stop loss.
