Nifty and Bank Nifty Prediction for Tomorrow 26 May 2022: Indian equity markets opened higher on Wednesday tracking positive cues from the Asian markets. Markets turned negative in the late morning session on the back of selling in Media, IT, and Realty stocks, as investors were cautious ahead of FOMC minutes, expected later in the day.
In the end, the benchmark indices ended lower by more than half a percent today. The broader markets underperformed as Nifty mid and smallcap indexes fell 2.38 percent and 3.48 percent respectively. You can read the detailed market updates here
Nifty and Nifty Bank futures price movement for 25 May (May Expiry)
The Nifty futures price opened at 16168.05, making a positive opening of 63.35 points. It has touched an intraday high of 16221.35 and a day’s low of 15982
The Nifty futures price has given a movement of 239.35 points today. In the end, it closed lower by 86.70 points or 0.54 percent and ended at 16018 levels.
The Bank Nifty futures opened at 34395.95 It made a positive opening of 169.65 points. The Bank Nifty futures has touched an intraday high at 34686.90 and a day’s low at 34280
During the day, the Bank Nifty futures has given a movement of 406.9 points. In the end, it closed higher by 75.70 points or 0.22 percent and closed at 34302 levels.

Suppose the Bank Nifty futures Moves Above 34505 and sustain, then you should Buy with the 1st Target of 34590 during the day with a Stop Loss of 34380 the Target of 34590- 34680- 34738- 34825
If the Bank Nifty futures Moves Below 34214 and sustain, then you should Sell with the 1st Target of 34085 the day with a Stop Loss of 34340. FOR the Target of 34085 – 33950 – 33865 – 33700
Global Stock Markets today
On the global front, the other Asian markets closed mixed on Wednesday. Investors worried about higher interest rates, inflation, China’s slowdown, and the Ukraine war, all are weighing heavily on the market sentiments. Investors are now eyed on the FOMC minutes, expected later today.
European markets opened lower on Wednesday as inflationary fear continue to weigh on sentiment. The indexes recovered later in the day and are training almost flat at 5.15 pm IST. The US future index, Dow, and Nasdaq futures are trading lower at this time.
Conclusion
Indian markets ended lower for the third consecutive day in a row, as investors preferred to book profits at higher levels. Going ahead, tomorrow markets will first react to the Fed’s minutes, expected later today. The domestic markets will remain volatile tomorrow as the monthly F&O expiry is also scheduled for tomorrow.
