Nifty and Bank Nifty Prediction for Tomorrow, 28 Dec 2021: Indian stock markets opened lower as indicated by the SGX nifty today. Markets bounced back after a few minutes of negative trading in the morning and later extended their gains in the end. The domestic indices closed higher on the back of buying in Pharma, Financial Services, and IT stocks. The broader markets also gained in line with their larger peers. Nifty and Nifty Bank futures price movement for 27 Dec (Dec Expiry)

 

The Nifty futures price opened at 16950, making a negative opening of 53.8 points. It has touched an intraday high at 17129 and a day’s low at 16842.40

The Nifty futures price has given a movement of 286.60 points today. In the end, it gained 114.20 points or 0.67 percent and ended at 17118 levels.

The Bank Nifty futures opened at 34550. It made a negative opening of  324.8 points today. It has touched an intraday high at 35198 and a day’s low at 34264.35

During the day, the Bank Nifty futures has given a movement of 933.65 points. In the end, it closed higher by 275.20 points or 0.79 percent and closed at 35150 levels.

Primary Nifty Trend in futures: Positive

Range-Bound Trend of Nifty Futures: All up Moves Initiates Profit Booking (Sale) @ 17200 whereas All Down Moves Initiates Short Covering (Buy) @ 17050

If the Nifty futures share price Moves Above 17150 and sustain. Then you should Buy with 1st Target of 17174 during the day with a Stop Loss of 17115 FOR the Target of 17174- 17202- 17245

If the Nifty futures share price Moves Below 17080 and is sustained. Then you should Sell with the 1st Target of 17045 during the day with a Stop Loss of 17002. FOR the Target of 17045- 17018-16985

Suppose the Bank Nifty futures Moves Above 35315 and sustain, then you should Buy with the 1st Target of 35430 during the day with a Stop Loss of  35180. FOR the Target of 35430 – 35545 – 35720

If the Bank Nifty futures Moves Below 34950 and sustain, then you should Sell with the 1st Target of 34845 during the day with a Stop Loss of 35045. FOR the Target of 34845 – 34730 – 34590

 

Global markets today

 

On the global front, Asian markets closed mostly in the red, some regional markets are having holidays today. Shanghai closed lower as China government tighten scrutiny of offshore listings in certain sectors. European markets are trading marginally higher today, FTSE is not trading today due to a holiday. The US future Indexes, Dow future is trading marginally lower whereas Nasdaq future is trading in the green at 3.30 pm IST.

 

Conclusions

 

The key benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty erased early losses and closed positive on Monday amid volatility. In absence of any major trigger, Indian markets will now focus mainly on monthly F&O expiry. Traders also need to keep track of Omicron variants as any positive development on this front can improve the market sentiments.
