Indian stock market live updates today 9 April

 

Market Live Today 9 April at 10.05 am IST: It was a flat opening for the Indian stock market today amid mixed cues from the other Asian market peers. Sensex opened at 49743.39 levels down by just 2.82 points whereas Nifty made a flat to the positive opening at 14882.65 levels, up by only 8.85 points. The Bank Nifty made a negative opening today. On the spot price Bank Nifty opened at 32636.90 levels down by 145.95 points.

At 10 am IST, Indian stock markets are trading almost flat. The key benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty are trading marginally higher by 0.09 percent and 0.08 percent respectively whereas the Bank Nifty on the spot price is trading 0.06 percent up from the previous close.

The midcap and smallcap stocks are trading strong at this moment. The Nifty midcap and smallcap indices are trading higher by 0.50 percent and 0.53 percent respectively.

 

The top gainers and losers 

 

Tata Motors, HUL, Titan Company are trading as the top gainers in the Nifty 50 index whereas Bajaj Finance, UP, and Shree Cement are trading as the top losers. The most active stocks in the Nifty 50 index at this moment are JSW Steel, HDFC Bank, and Tata Motors.

The top gainer at this moment n the Nifty midcap index are Bank of India, and Adani Total Gas whereas the losers are Future Retail, and Au Small finance. The top gainers in the Nifty smallcap index at this moment are Metropolis and Galaxy Surfacta and the losers are HEG and Graphite India

 

Sectoral Report

On the sectoral front, FMCG, Capital Goods, and Healthcare sectors are trading higher whereas Banking, Metals, and Power sectors are trading marginally lower.
