Nifty Ends Above 19200, Sensex Climbs 283: All Sectors in the Green

Sensex and Nifty Today, 3 Nov 2023: Indian stock market indexes ended higher for the second consecutive day on Friday amid positive global cues. The domestic markets made a gap-up opening and traded positively throughout the day on the back of buying across the sectors.

Domestic sentiments got a boost amid positive global cues on the back of growing bets that US benchmark interest rates have peaked. Traders were also getting encouragement from United States (US) Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen’s statement that Washington is increasing its trade with countries like India, Vietnam, and Mexico reducing its dependence on China.

However, traders took note that India’s services purchasing managers’ index (PMI) in October came in at 58.4, according to the S&P Global Ratings. The service PMI in September was recorded at 61.
