Nifty and Bank Nifty prediction for Monday 25 Oct 2021: Indian stock markets are in correction mode, markets fell almost a percent in the week ended 22 October. On Friday markets opened higher but fell sharply in the afternoon session. Indian market indices fell for the fourth straight session on Friday amid positive cues from the global markets. The domestic markets declined on Friday due to a rise in US bond yields and  FIIs outflow. 

 

Nifty & Nifty Bank futures price movement on Friday 22 October (Oct Expiry)

 

On Thursday 14 October, Nifty futures opened at 18247.80 levels, up by 44.9 points. It has touched an intraday high at 18318 and a day’s low at 18051.10

The Nifty futures has given a movement of 266.9 points on Thursday. In the end, it declined by 64.05 points or 0.35 percent and ended at 18138.85 levels.

The Bank Nifty futures opened at 40251.15 levels on the last day of the week. It made a positive opening of 146.1 points on Thursday. It has touched an intraday high at 40582.45 and a day’s low at 40195.85

On Thursday, the Bank Nifty in futures has given a movement of 386.6 points. In the end, it gained 309.95 points or 0.77 percent and closed at 40415 levels

Range-Bound Trend of Nifty Futures: All up Moves Initiates Profit Booking (Sale) @ 18160 whereas All Down Moves Initiates Short Covering (Buy) @ 18000

If the Nifty futures share price Moves Above 18160 and sustain. Then you should Buy with 1st Target of 18185 during the day with a Stop Loss of 18090  FOR the Target of 18185-18203- 18230

If the Nifty futures share price Moves Below 18038 and is sustained. Then you should Sell with the 1st Target of 18009 during the day with a Stop Loss of 18080. FOR the Target of 18009- 17974- 17954

Range-Bound Trend of Bank Nifty Future: All up Moves Initiates Profit Booking (Sale) @ 40650, whereas All Down Moves Initiates Short Covering (Buy) @ 40220

Suppose the Bank Nifty futures Moves Above 40530 and sustain, then you should Buy with the 1st Target of 40625 during the day with a Stop Loss of  40365. FOR the Target of 40625 – 40730 – 40840

If the Bank Nifty futures Moves Below 40220 and sustain, then you should Sell with the 1st Target of 40080 during the day with a Stop Loss of 40320. FOR the Target of 40080 – 39960 – 39840

Global market indexes 

 

European markets closed higher on Friday as investors cheered news of interest payment made by debt-ridden China Evergrande Group and kept aside the news that showed the business activity in the eurozone slowed in October due to inflation fears. 

The US market indexes closed mixed on Friday. Dow Jones closed at a record high whereas S&P 500 and Nasdaq closed in the red on Friday. The Dow Jones gained due to the better than expected corporate earnings beat the analyst expectations in the last week.

 

Conclusions

 

Indian stock markets closed lower on Friday for the fourth consecutive day. The domestic markets lost the two-week gaining momentum and ended lower amid volatility in the last week. Heavy selling was witnessed in the midcap and smallcap indexes, whereas bank nifty gained, the index closed above the 40K mark for the first time on a weekly basis. 

Going ahead, the market will first react to Reliance and ICICI bank’s results on Monday. The bank nifty is also likely to be in focus next week.
