The market sentiment got boosted as the preliminary data showed on Tuesday that India’s exports grew by 28.51% to $8.67 billion during the first week of February. Adding more optimism, NITI Aayog Chairman Rajiv Kumar said the rise in international fuel and commodity prices may not continue going forward.

The upside of the market remained capped as the equity and equity-oriented mutual fund schemes saw less inflow in the month of January.  As the data showed, the equity-related inflow in mutual fund schemes was Rs 14,552.3 crore for the month of January 2022, declining significantly from Rs 24,990 crore inflow seen in the previous month.
